Our in-house web designers are skilled at producing creative and elegant solutions that meet both brand and user needs. We adopt a strong user centred design approach to produce websites that are easy to use, visually stunning and fully accessible.

Site strategy

We’ll work with you to establish your business objectives and user needs from the project outset. By defining the site specifications, conducting user research and online user behaviour analysis, we can fully understand how people use your site.

This may include examining your existing web analytics, conducting competitor analysis and usability testing to inform the overall site strategy and design brief. We can then use these insights to increase conversion rates and improve usability. We will also identify and address the specific business objectives you’d like to achieve from the project; such as increase page views or attain higher order values.

User centered design and information architecture

Good design is about exceeding the user’s expectations to create the best user interfaces. Show-stopping creative must go hand-in-hand with well devised information architecture (IA). We put the user’s needs at the heart of everything we do, and by understanding your user’s needs we are able to provide them with a high quality user experience.

We’ll utilise our user research to create personas that identify and profile your audience. By mapping their user journeys to the emerging IA, we can ensure a seamless user experience.

With a well planned IA in place, producing a site design that speaks volumes to visitors and captures your brand personality begins. We evolve the seed of an idea from the design brief through mood boards, sketches, wireframes, and design concepts to an original and innovative final version, which will vitalise your brand online. We have a dedicated team of interface designers who can utilise techniques such as wireframing, prototyping and design mock-ups.

Our team has also created successful visual concepts for many successful mobile sites and applications. Mobile users are rapidly expanding, and will continue to grow and diversify. Our web design can cater for all users and devices using responsive design, considering how an interface might scale and optimise for any device or screen size, this is called a ‘mobile first’ approach.

Web Accessibility

We are committed to building websites that can be used by everyone, and are fully compliant to web accessibility standards. All new projects are built with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, with the aim of achieving at least a Level AA conformance. This is achieved through our accessibility expertise, along with rigorous checking and testing throughout the project process.

We also work with our clients to provide ongoing accessibility training and consultancy, to ensure they have the knowledge and understanding to promote equality and increase the reach of their brand.
